Meet The Trustees.

Growing up in rural Germany, Dagmar has always been fascinated by foreign countries.
In 2007 the opportunity arose to live abroad and together with her husband Chris and their then six months old daughter Sophie she embarked on an adventure to explore Aotearoa/New Zealand. Ōamaru became home very quickly and what was meant to be
an OE was the beginning of a new life. Chris and Dagmar’s son Jakob was born in
Dunedin and the family is now settled in North Otago, enjoying life in the beautiful
Waitaki District.
Dagmar is a trained lawyer and worked in different corporate management positions with the Daimler AG, commonly known as Mercedes, a German multinational automotive corporation, headquartered in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg. Her focus was Public Relations, Event Management and Communication.
In 2015 her husband Chris opened a new GP surgery in Ōamaru and Dagmar supports the team at Ōamaru Doctors from her home office. She enjoys the freedom of being self-employed.
In her free time you can see her in Friendly Bay, rowing on the harbour or coaching the junior rowers of the Ōamaru Rowing Club. Dagmar volunteered at the local Trade Aid shop for a few years and does learn Te Reo Māori with the Ōamaru Language School.
